Bottle. Very pretty pour, golden orange with a towering top that clings to the glass. The earthy aroma is reserved but sturdy, ripe with leafy goodness. The drink is wonderful -- easy to drink, yet full-muscled with sticky hops. (#6003, 7/17/2015) daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Great beer! Vibrant and juicy hops. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit, grassy, lightly sweet. DYCSoccer17 (3719) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 15, 2016
10 ounce sample on tap at the brewery. The aroma on this is really nice and sweet with orange and mandarin. Nice light dank. Really nice. Transparent orange body with a creamy cream-colored head and great lacing. Starts with a nice citrus and grapefruit hop flavor before some nice citrus orange comes through in the middle. Finishes with a little sweetness and a touch of ethanol. This is pretty good. Lots of Simcoe.

Bomber from Liz (who got it at SN). Pours clear darkish gold with a slight bubbly/creamy white head. Aroma overwhelms the nose with lots of floral and mildly citrus hop. Caramel barely discernible. Full bodied. Hop burn in the mouth. Still think it’s floral and citrus, but the hop is so strong there could well be resin hiding within. It’s indeed NW strong, but it is fairly smooth and non-harsh. So it trumps most NW DIPAs. Damn but it is hoppy. Without burning anything. Super "drinkable hop-bomb". Brilliant ale. J_man (1038) - Tustin, California, USA - APR 12, 2014
750 ml bottle from the SN gift shop. The aroma is actually more rich caramel malt than hops, but there’s definitely some green grassy notes. This might be because I’ve had this for awhile (longer than I should have). Beautiful crystal clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. The hops really get kicked up in the taste with a powerful spiciness. Pine dryness stands out along with a slight grapefruit note. There’s just enough light caramel sweetness to tame the bitterness ever so slightly. The body is slightly creamy but not thick at all, in fact a bit thin for all the flavor here. Finishes dry and spicy with a lasting pleasant bitterness. Kind of like a lighter version of Hoptimum and just as delicious. johnnnniee (4459) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 22, 2015
One of a large number of samples I had at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston 3/21/32014. Nice hop wake me up.
