Refrigerated 75 cl corked and capped poured into a snifter. Clear Amber with small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, and little carbonated. Taste is caramel, wood, and some herbal hops. Pretty heavy. Cousin_Larry (895) - - JAN 23, 2016
Had a sampler at Jerkane’s. Im so sick of writing reviews now. This one has a decent toffee flavor. rejtable (2888) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2016
Pours brown/ruby with lots of smooth creamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is big syrup and oak. Flavours are rye whiskey, table syrup, cheerios, plums, coconut, raisins, vanilla. Taste big sweet med/big bitter. Full creamy body with med/light carbonation. A beauty!

Pours a dark golden brown with fluffy head. Aromas of dark malts, hops, and light bourbon. Flavors of sweet malts, hops, and nice bourbon notes. Huhzubendah (3775) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Rusty orange body with a bubbly off-white head. Aromas of wood, booze, caramel malt, sweet fruity esters. Super woody. Rain water and wood. Earthy and boozy. Pretty sweet and finishing dry. Pretty good, though not my thing. If you’re a fan of sweet, malty barleywines, you’d likely enjoy this. Lowe1983 (1656) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2016

Bottle, dark, slightly cloudy amber, nice creM colored head, some lace. Aroma raisin and dried plums, malt, something spicy, vanilla. Taste is malt, whiskey, oak, vanilla, dried cherries, hint of anise, with a sprucy hops finish. Palate is rich and smooth, carbonation moderate. This is last years, so almost a year in the cellar, and it’s still pretty hoppy. Not very sweet, which is a nice suprise.
