@ Avery Sourfest. Hazy light gold with a thin bubbly head. Cereal aroma with a touch of oak and vanilla and some dry fruit rind. Flavor wasn’t very sour, just a touch. Tap at Avery Sour Fest 3. Pours hazy pale straw yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium-long retention with good lacing. Aroma is salty Pils malt, corn, light lactic acid, and barnyard funk notes. Flavor is mild malt, lightly salty, funky and barnyard notes, very mild and a dry finish. Light body, medium carbonation. On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, dirty feet,salt and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Tap at 3rd Annual Boulder SourFest (06-02-2012). Poured a pale, lemon-color with no head. Smell is lemon, herbal, spice, barnyard, and chardonnay. Tap @ Avery SourFest III. Hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy (coriander), lemon citrusy, light vanilla, cheesy aroma. The salt is definitely present in the flavor, but unfortunately, the flavor is a tart, lemon, light stomach acid flavor. I haven’t had too many Goses in my days, but this was one of my least favorites.
