Yellow gold pour. White head. Light citrus hops, a hint of lemon. I have to ask, where are the apricots or kumquats? I get neither which is disappointing.
Tap @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. Pours a clear golden yellow appearance with a white head. Peachy, tropical fruity, vanilla aroma. Tangy, a touch funky, apricot, lemon, a bit zesty flavor. quenching. beersearcher (2383) - Glendale, California, USA - FEB 1, 2013
A taster at The Whole Foods. Pleasant apricot notes that fade into a metallic finish. First half of the beer is good but don’t know what happens at the end. dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 12, 2012
On draught at Papago. Poura clear dark golden with minimal white head. Aroma has citrus and biscuity notes. Taste is semi-sweet with nice bitterness. Easy drinker. DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 4, 2012
4 ounce sample on tap at Rubicon. The aroma on this has some crystal malt character with a slight piney hop aromas. Not getting much fruitiness in this. Smells very similar to SNPA. Transparent golden body with a small, white head that is quickly dissipating. Starts slightly fruity with some apricot flavors, before this becomes a little spicy, piney, and hoppy towards the middle and finish. Tastes like SNPA with a little bit of fruitiness. Decent hop bitterness in the end.
