on tap at Gingerman... beautiful dark red, almost purple pour with a thin off white head. hints of sweet fruit, honey, grape on the nose. Was amazed at the grape flavor that came through, not that it was a lot or overwhelming but certainly noticeable and even slightly tangy as it went down... medium body. loved this beer!
On tap @ Malibu Sundowner. Amber pour with a white head. Sweet and spicy nose. Red grapes, toast, waffles, and sugar. Some prune, too. The flavor is sweet sugar, red grape, and prunes. Pours with a clear copper hue with some reddish tint. Large and lasting white head with good lace. Aromas are of grapes, fruity, muted malt character. Light hop, lots of fruit. Flavors are spicy, malty, lightly jammy. Grape character is slightly bland and generic. Light currant. Lively bubbles, dry, low bitterness and lower bodied. Pour on tap at Cheeky Monk, pour was hazy yellow-orange with foamy white head, aroma brought notes of big biscuity bread, fruity notes come through with lemon, slight grape and peach notes, a ncie spice elemnt comes through as well. Taste is slight grape and pear, some peach as well with a lemon hint, sweet biscuit and yeasty bread notes with an earth and spice quality, finishing dry but a bit sweet. This was tasty, but the grape was kind of hidden.

Pouring at the Saturday afternoon session of EBF. Pours a mostly clear amber brown with a thin white head. Caramel and grapes, toast. Sweet caramel and toast. 12oz pour at Fireworks in Arlington, Virginia. The bartender warned me this would be "sweet". Hmm. Looks awesome, translucent purple amber with a frothy white head. Nose is fairly mild, some grape jelly, some white grape juice, some light malt, a little honey, perfume. Flavor mild, lightly sweet, lightly fruity, some red grapes, some white grape juice, a little flower pollen, some crackers, a little biscuit malt. Medium bodied, lightly sweet finish. On draft at the brewpub. It pours a copper color with an off white head. The aroma is very sweet and grapey with some mild hints of caramel malts. The flavor is similar with lots of grapes and nice bitterness that balances it out wonderfully. My only gripe is that the massive use of wine grapes really covers over most of the unusual complexity of the Nelson Sauvin hops, but this was still a very well crafted beer that delivers on what you would expect from the description.
