Clear orange with sudsy off-white head. Lacing is pretty heavy. Aroma is citrusy and floral over toast and caramel malt. Floral tasting as well, with substantial bitterness. Medium bodied and dry. Definitely outside of the norm; good stuff. cubs (10640) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilburs Foco. Pours a hazy, a touch peachy orange appearance with a tan head and nice lacing. Quite rich bready and caramel malty, a bit spicy, floral hoppy aroma that surprised me to smell a very malt forward nose. Somewhat bitter, fairly earthy, floral/herbal hoppy, toasty/cracker, caramel malty flavor with a moderately dry and spicy finish. There’s a spiciness to the flavor similar to rye, but must be one of the adjuncts. mensch (289) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Great label, kinda Monty Pythonish. Very much like their Torpedo, but with some extra hops up front. Floral, yes, but also perfume and even a little muskiness. Light, complex and enticing aromas. Some spicey flavors follow along with the usual luscious hop/sweet carmel malt interplay. Long bitter finish. I love it. Sammy (12339) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2012
Fresh bottle. Yes very floral. The flavour seems more complex the more I drink it. Big head on hazy orange. Above average mouthfeel. Well executed IPA and good drinkability. MrBeerFanatic (1064) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Pours a light cloudy light copper or more like a dirty orange. Big aromas of flowery hops, caramel, amd just a touch of funkyness. Flavors of floral hops, and some "unexpected flavors" like a citrus note that doesn’t seem to pair with the other floral hop note. Like they were not meant to be together. Not that it taste bad, just different. The caramel doesn’t back up the hops to much. Theres also this sour/bitter note. Medium bitterness with mostly hops coming through. Leaves a medium bitter aftertaste. The flowers (not the hops) do add a strange dimension but worthy of trying for a twist on an ipa. Not your average, and for sure, above.

Bottle pours an amber color with a thin white top. Scent is citrus, floral and some bread. Taste is bready, caramel and citrus. Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - AUG 16, 2012
12 oz. bottle- Pours hazy dark orange with a nice two finger off white head that seems to want to stick around for the duration. The aroma is very floral, rose petals dominate the senses, hops are there too. The taste is the same, very floral, hops provide a nice bitterness in the finish, sweet light malt is there in check where it should be. Body is medium to almost full, carbonation is average. Overall this is a nice IPA and I dug the flower twist. poisoneddwarf (2562) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - AUG 16, 2012
12 oz bottle from the 2012 variety pack bought from work. It’s a hazy orange beer under a medium off-white lacy head that falls in a couple minutes. Aroma consists of dank skunky weed, faint rose petals. Taste starts out lightly sweet before a pronounced bitterness quickly sets in and lingers there through the long finish; there’s also a hint of tartness. The rose components are barely there, making this taste more like an average unadulterated IPA. drfabulous (8078) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Beer camp box. Big aromatic nose. Malty body with pine and resin. Floral quality is also a bit musty and earthy. Nice. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours orange-caramel colored, with rocky white head. Nice retention. Grassy, aromatic hops on the nose, earthiness. Hop bitterness right up front, with bitter citrus, more floral notes. Clean finish. Exceedingly drinkable.
