Definitely tasting the floral aspect from this one, another solid IPA from SN, what they do best, light and crisp and loaded with floral hops, slightly bitter, and slight citrus flavor as well. Comes as advertised, solid offering from the 2012 mix pack, starts out well for me. drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - AUG 8, 2012
8/8/12. 12oz bottle from Grassroots. It would be a clear light amber/orange pour, but under the light there’s definitely particulates floating about. Floral and earthy aroma with plenty of hop bitterness as well as citrus. Bitter hop flavor, slightly sweet, with biscuits and caramel, and it lingers floral and dry. Not bad. arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Deep amber-copper color with white head. Only a slightly perfume-like, mostly citrus hop aroma. Pretty sweet overall. Flavor is a semi-astringent citrus bitterness, light caramel backbone in the middle, and finishing with a citrus to pine flavor. Solid. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2012
12 ounce bottle from the Beer Camp sampler, from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color wirth a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Intensely herbal hop aroma, spicy hops and a faint floral finish. The taste is caramel malts with a bitter herbal and minty hop finish. Medium bodied. Interesting but not really my thing. Clear light orange color, big head, and a strong aroma of spruce. Taste of pine and citrus. Although it seems like this ale will have massive hops, they are rather muted. A pleasant and easy to drink IPA, but not an outstanding one.

12oz bottle, 2012 Beer Camp Variety Pack, purchased at Whole Foods in Milwaukee. Pours a deep amber color with an off white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, pine, maybe a little floral, the rose hips and petals I guess. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bread, cereal, pine hops, some bitterness, a little grapefruit, some floral, with a light bitter finish that lingers for a while. Pretty tasty IPA. Not sure how much the rose hips and petals are doing, but they are a little noticeable. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Pours a rich copper color with a finger or so head that dissipates quite quickly. On the nose there is a bit of earthy hop spice, citrus, sweet malts and a fresh floral note similar to fresh pollen. On the palate its fresh and flavorful but balanced nicely without any overwhelming flavors. Nice floral qualities that play off the earthy hop profile and malty base... good bitterness in the finish. A few bottles from the mix pack. Pretty tasty ipa, very grassy, some pine, light floral characeristics. Drinks just fine. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - JAN 27, 2012
Sampled at Beer Revolution on 8/17/2011. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head with good retention and nicer lacing. The aroma is floral and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Good carbonation. Medium bitterness, but the bitterness tends to linger. Nice clean and crisp IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - NOV 5, 2011
On draft at Beer Revolution. Brewed by Rebekah and Jen (of Beer Revolution) at Sierra Nevada. It pours a nice golden color with a small off white head. The aroma is intense of flowers and citrus hops. The flavor is extremely floral. I was told that this beer is brewed with rose hips and rose petals. It definitely comes through without overpowering the very nice base IPA. Notes of citrus and tea round out the flavor profile before a nice bitter finish. Great job!
