hazy gold beer with a tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Mild minerals. Orange hops with a mild marmalade vibe. Malt cream. Nice fruity floralness from the rosehips. Traces of lemon and floralness. Finishes semi dry. Hangs together well and is very drinkable.
Bottle sample at Nejaime’s, MA. Pours rich gold with a strong, white fluff head. Big grass and pine nose, some reeds. Medium sweet flavor, heavily bitter but not abrasivev with sweet grass, light honey, lightly toasted pale malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Rich brown bread in the finish, strong pine, mild resins. Excellent brew. harrisoni (19310) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2013
355ml bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Hazy amber colour lasting light beige head. Yes a floral hop aroma which is very attactive. It’s ok, but quite light in the mouth. Some ok bitterness on the finish. Bit of nettle and almost pee on the aroma. It’s fine. Attactive aroma. But this nettle pee thing is just a bit ughy for me. mcberko (18929) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Sampled on tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a cloudy blonde / orange with a small white head. Aroma is very floral indeed - not much else detectable on the nose. Flavour is super floral, with flower petals coming to mind, nice and dry on the tongue, but also very delicate. Solid IPA - highly drinkable.

Golden orange in color with a tall white head. Strong floral hop character with a nice citrus rind note as well. Some sweet toffee notes, a bit of bread, and a nice bit of grapefruit. The flavor is fairly bitter. Some strong floral hops, orange peel, tangerine, light grass, and plenty of pine. A fair amount of grapefruit and a slight malt sweetness. bhensonb (15745) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle from the Folsom BevMo. Pours clear copper with a frothy white head. Aroma is moderate rose over mild caramel. Near full bodied. Flavor is malty, but there’s more than enough hop to pound that down, and the rose aroma carries into the flavor. I’m voting for earthy/floral for the hop. Lots of flavor whatever. Bottle at home, from Nelson Wines, Merton. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium off-white head. The nose is floral, grass, dough, farmyard and a touch of pithy citrus. The taste is hay, strong floral, grass, wood, pithy citrus, light metal and nice hope-bite with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavoursome, well balanced and very drinkable. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 18, 2012
On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral hops and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet resin hop and wheat with nice sweet finish. Easy to drink a very good IPA from Sierra Nevada.
