COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Citrus-heavy hops in a dry, yet assertive IPA... At Beer Camp, no beer style is off limits, so we jumped at the idea of doing a Golden IPA using wheat malt for a light, dry body and bold American and experimental hops for intense citrus flavor. The perfect spring seasonal, we invite you to enjoy this year’s Beer Camp encore.

Shag (3036) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 8, 2017
A golden color with a white head. The aroma is floral and hoppy with some lemons and pine. The flavor is quite bitter and dry with mostly lemons showing up. Some bready notes are present. Overall tasty if not complex but I guess that is the point.

From 12 ounce bottle bought as part of a mixed six pack at Kroger (forget which one), tasted on September 16, 2017. Slightly cloudy gold color, musty/citrus nose, good bittersweet flavor with prominent citrus, some mustiness. This beer was a little old, and I don't know how long it had been refrigerated with I bought it, but still a decent brew.

Bottle. Pale gold, white head. Intense lemon and cooked grapefruit juice aroma, some tropical fruit, herbs. Maybe some hay? Clean and fruity with lemon and minor herbal notes. Bitterness fades gradually to a point. Not a lot to it apart from hops and a dry finish, but that’s OK.
