A - Pours a deep and fairly clear amber-orange color with a finger of head with a half finger of off-white/tan head. The head faded fairly quickly leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is full of floral and citrus hops and quite powerful. Also a touch of sweet malt and some spiciness mixed in.
T - Starts off with a perfect balance of sweet malt flavor and some nice citrus hops. The floral hops with some nice bitterness explodes in the middle of the beer. The finish is a touch of spice mixed with the hops flavor with some nice lingering bitterness. Just a touch of alcohol burn in the finish. Very balanced beer.
M - Medium-full bodied with a fairly low to moderate amount of carbonations. Super smooth and just a touch oily. Feels crisp and the dry finish is really nice.
D - Very drinkable. The flavors are really nice, strong, and almost perfectly balanced. Lots of hop flavor and just a touch of alcohol burn (even with the 9.7% APV) makes for a very excellent beer. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - NOV 30, 2010
Tap at Rattle n Hum. Poured a rich dark amber. Piny grapefruit nose. FlAvor follows the nose. Big big hopped double ipa. Nicely flavored and well balanced. Lots of bitterness in the finish, but smooth with a hint of sweetness. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 11, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2010 Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured a clear amber/orange with a white head, nice lacing. Nose was dirty with hops, spicy, peppery. Very resinous, slight kick of alcohol. Malts were sweet but just stayed in the back of all the hop bitterness. My buddy Harry helped with this beer at the camp, so I was really stoked to get some. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 3, 2010
On tap at Rattle n Hum during their Sierra Nevada event. Pours a just clear brown amber with a thin white head. Caramel and malt on the nose. Sweet, big and earthy with lots of citrus. Hops turn to caramel, smooth and sticky. Lots of long earthy notes on the finish. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Tap at RNH. Pours a deep amber, clear with a nice sticky off white head- good streaky lacing. Aroma is citrus, orange, peach, big pnw hops, mint pine, dank weed. Flavor is a touch sweet but still hoppy and drinkable, pine, citrus, mint, grass, big tropical note as well, tacky bitter finish. Pretty damn good.

Clear copper pour with a small, off-white head that lasts and leaves good lacing. Aromas are of mango and papaya, quite dry, zesty, pine needles, very vibrant, lightly bready, some alcohol and a touch of caramel. Flavors are a little bit sweet and candy like, tropical fruit, guava and strawberry. Medium bubbles, light bitterness but a lot of hop flavor. Dry and very tasty. 22 oz. bomber from the SN brewery. Wow, I accidentally held on to this for far too long. :( I’m rating this on what I *think* it probably tasted like when I should have drunk it. It’s still crystal clear and a beautiful deep copper color with a light tan head. However, the hops that I’m sure were fresh and delicious at one time have now turned vegetal and cloying. It doesn’t taste bad, but it’s just kind of muddled at this point. Makes me want to cry. Damn my hoarding ways!! Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 10, 2010
Draft. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Hoppy pine and citrus hop tones. Bitter pine, light honey notes with a sticky green grass herbal freshness. Finish is strong and bitter with a modest warming. Nice. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 20, 2011

Slight haze. Coppery amber brown. Raw almond head. 3.5
A=toasty, gf/citrusy, slight pine, pineapple, spicy alcohol, bs.
F=a... Spicy pineapple, warming alcohol on the finish.

Tap at Papago. Hazy burnt orange color pour with a small foamy head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops, light fruit and toasted malt. Flavor is sweet at first, with tropical fruits and spice, followed by a big bitter hop and alcohol finish. Nice.
