COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Produced especially for the OBF, Beer Camp’s golden color and medium bodied sweetness comes from pale, Europils, Munich and acidulated malts. Magnum, Crystal and Pacifica hops provide a distinctly American bittering and hop flavor profile without going over the top. The result is a refreshing, balanced, crisp pilsner, easy to drink on a hot summer festival day - or to take with you to beer camp.

Clear gold beer with a small white head. Slightly soft palate with good fine carbonation. Light and soft creamy malt. Mild floral note and mild minerals. Nice touch of orangey hops. Finishes smooth, A very nice pilsner but the palate being so soft for the style, reduces drinkability.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Lovely fresh aroma hops in the nose. Medium body, dry and crisp malts with a dry finish. Very clean and quaffable. Nothing Imperial though. 060413

Bottle in MA. Pours clear gold with a fluffy, white head. Lovely doughy malt nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with dough and straw. Medium bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Faintly dry to finish with light, dry straw, doughy and biscuity malts, faint alcohol presence. Excellent lager. Extremely drinkable beer with great character.

Bottle at Exmouth Arms Finsbury. Clear gold lasting white head. Lager aroma. Thats a pretty solid lager. No puke. Wasy drinking some easy hop sting and hop flower finish. Pretty good. Thats damn good lager. Yep tasty and drinkable. Maybe just a touch too hoppy. Wld prefer the noble hops.

mcberko (18998) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Sampled on tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty restrained, revealing grassy hops and grains. Flavour of grassy hops, very low malt intensity and some grains. Nice restrained hoppiness and dry on the palate. Very solid pils... but why is this called an "Imperial Pilsner" at 5.6%??
