From the boot camp variety pack. Poured a crystal clear bright yello with a foamy white head that settled to a more creamy 1 inch. The aroma was mild with some bread, yeast and light lemon. There was a nice amount of carbonation bubbles rising up from the bottom of the pilsner glass. I was thinking that it wasn’t a 4 in the appearance category, but a 3.5 if that was available. The beer had a good mouth feel and nice carbonation. There was a melow roasted malt flavor initially and gets a crisp lemon flavor with a mild bitterness on the back of the throat. It was refreshing and easy drinking. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Translucent golden yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts and citrus hops and a bit of earthy yeast. Taste is not as sweet as smell. Yeast and bread malts dominate flavor. Hints of citrus. Slightly bitter finish followed by a bit of sweet fruit to take the edge off. chicowv (478) - Canaan Valley, West Virginia, USA - AUG 30, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours a nice golden with a big white head and good CO2 release. Aroma of floral hops, bready malts and slight cheese. Taste is a nice mix of hops and blanced with cereal malts. Slightly salty. Smooth on the palate, easy to drink and good finish. Pretty good overall but not "Imperial." burgy (456) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Aroma is weak sauce. Appearance is very light gold. Taste is not bad but it is definitely not an imperial. Palate is really solid and full. Overall good but I would not buy a six pack of it! thicksuds (449) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Nice pour, great foam, nice golden color, taste is good, but really tastes more like a pils to me and is missing the imperial aspect. I was expecting something a little more strong, a little more flavorful. Ranking as a pils alone its a little above average, crisp, clean and refreshing.

I have a hard time with this one. I really enjoyed it. Looks nice with a solid mouthfeel and fairly complex hopping ... but it’s not really a pilsner if you ask me. Which means I like it ... because I don’t like pilsners. HarmonKill-a-Brew (407) - Wilmar, Arkansas, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Pilsners you usually tasty and refreshing though not particularly exciting... This one is refreshing to be sure but is also anything but boring... The subitle maltiness you would usually expect but the hop bite is just a bit more... enough more to make this beer very intriguing and quite tasty! pmuzz (400) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 27, 2012
Hot hot day here in Oz, unfortunately chose the wrong beer today. Not a great beer, has some good flavours but not enough. GODiSSOUTHERN (390) - Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2012
This style is not for everyone but I love it. It is very hopforward, but in a grassy herbal kind of way that is definitely not an IPA. Really crisp and refreshing but with lots of flavor too. Onionkid (376) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle. Aroma of hops, malts, zest and a slightly bread bit (not so much yeast tho). Tasted like a crisp Pils but with some floral hoppiness to it. Kinda tastes like cleanly cut grass smells and again, zest, hops and a slight bit of malts. Really, it just tastes crisp, clean, and evokes a bit of a summer ale taste. Comes across as nice and balanced, clean and refreshing.grassy and fruity bitterness.. tasty and very drinkable. Would def. drink again! 5.6% abv.
