COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Produced especially for the OBF, Beer Camp’s golden color and medium bodied sweetness comes from pale, Europils, Munich and acidulated malts. Magnum, Crystal and Pacifica hops provide a distinctly American bittering and hop flavor profile without going over the top. The result is a refreshing, balanced, crisp pilsner, easy to drink on a hot summer festival day - or to take with you to beer camp.

A delicious, crisp and refreshing pilsener. Aroma was a little disappointing. Not much going on except some light malt and cereal. Pour was a nice clear light gold with a thin white film for a head and no rising bubbles. Taste made up for the aroma. Nice straw and grassy hop flavor follows a light grainy pilsener malt backbone. Very subtle and easy to drink. I am kind of confused, however, why they call this an "imperial" pilsner. To get sales? There’s nothing imperial about this; it’s a solid and delicious pilsener. Nice carbonation.

Imperial pils at 5.6%? Interesting, but I shall not complain as I am starting to tire of the huge beer that keep coming. Straw color with a tall near white head. Heavy sheet of lace. Floral hops, light rubber and pale malt scents. Pale malt sweetness, with a floral to lightly herbal bitterness. I do start to understand the imperial pilsner call. Some orange zest come out late. A little too much resin. 5/12

BOTTLE. (poured 7th Jan 2015) Hazy straw with foamy white head. Faint hops on the nose, more wheat & honey. Hoppy bitterness upfront, honey is strong at the back end with a sticky finish. Sourced Cellabrations @ Capel

"I dunno why they call this an imperial pilsner when it’s only 5.6%, but by the 2nd or 3rd sip... I don’t care. For a normal abv pils, it’s very nice. A little on the crisp hoppy side, like I like em, with a backbone of bread, especially in the nose. The feel was a strongpoint as the beer did a little jig on the tongue."

(12oz bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, herbs, citrus, and earthiness. Flavor of grain, citrus, dough, and florals with a dry finish.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold pour with a puffy white head. Tangy hop and citrus aroma with some dry malt underneath. Flavor is pretty standard pilsener. Light hops at the start, dry malt middle and a crisp bitter finish. Kind of uneventful.

Not my go to style but still good beer. Pour is orange in color with a medium white head and tons of bubbles in the glass. Aroma is light and boring. Easy drinker that is light and malty with a touch of hops on the finsh.

Straw yellow with a quickly fading medium white head. Aroma is grassy and Noble with sweet bready malt. Taste of grassy and noble hops and some perfumed malt. Easy drinking and boring why waste a beer camp slot on a freaking Pilsner?

I’m currently rating every SN brew I’ve ever had in one clean sweep. I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

Clear gold beer with a small white head. Slightly soft palate with good fine carbonation. Light and soft creamy malt. Mild floral note and mild minerals. Nice touch of orangey hops. Finishes smooth, A very nice pilsner but the palate being so soft for the style, reduces drinkability.
