From bottle. Pours a rich, dark red with minimal, but lingering head and big time lacing. Some hops and dark fruit in the nose. Good carbonation, slightly oily feel. Hoppy with a coffee-like finish. Nice wallop and easy to drink. Win. TheBeerGod (6284) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Bottle. Attractive cooper-ruby pour with a medium, frothy tan head. Aroma is strong caramel, citrus, floral hops, toasted bread and soft malt. Taste is citrusy hops, floral hops, earthy notes, abundant caramel, toasted malt and dark bread. Body is medium-full and chewy with a dense, creamy carbonation. Finishes with more citrus notes, strong caramel, toasted malt, earthy notes, dark bread and floral hops. alexsdad06 (11242) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 15, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a deep copper/mahogany color with a medium sized fine beige head that leaves thick lacing. The aroma has a sweet caramel malt base, some citrus and juicy tangerine hops, a spicy note and even a light floral note. The flavor has adds some toasted malts to the caramel, citrus is there, but this is more citrus rind and earthy hops with a big bitterness to the finish. Tasty enough, my only suggestion would be more flavoring hops for the finish and less bittering hops. gururyan (730) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 13, 2013
Poured into snifter from Camp Box bottle. It's a sexy ginger with curves. I'm enjoying the hell out of this.

Pour is deep copper to brown, pretty murky, thin whispy layer of beige suds. Cloudy linen scent. floral hops and robust sweet carmel, some faint banana. Pert carbonation, mouthfeel average to thin, very bitter finish, carbony/resinous. Bitter resin and pine hop flavor, somewhat indistinct malt character that just adds roundness to the flavor overall. Straght forward bitter beer that’s not too strong but lacks complexity.

Tap at FH North Olmsted, 9.7.2013. Big deep ruby color, with a fairly hopped nose though none of the hop smells stand out, perhaps chinook? can’t quite tell. taste is chewy and big, lots of malt and slight roast.. touch of heat, but nothing too bad... just too thick and syrupy for me . hershiser2 (3834) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2013
2013 Mix Pack. Pours a deep red with an inch and a half of frothy tan head. Smells of yummy grapefruity hops. Taste is grapefruit, pine, roasted malts, soap, pepper. Thick and yummy. mensch (289) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Not getting the aroma I was expecting out of this one. Almost enough sweet toasty malt to stand up well to the bitter hop onslaught. But without the aroma, go buy a Gordon(aka G’night) instead. mcox90 (2161) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 8, 2013
12 oz. bottle, part of the Beer Camp 12 pack. Pours a deep ruby red with clear edges. One finger creamy beige head with a good amount of lace. Strong citrus hop aroma with a sweet caramel malt background. Lots of juicy citrus flavor softened by sweet malty goodness. Full bodied. Yummy!
