From the 2013 Beer Camp 12 pack.
A- pours a deep dark red, 2 finger head of foam, good lacing.
S- big notes of citrus with a solid malty backbone. Grapefruit and Caramel.
T- Caramel malt first, overwhelmed by grapefruit hoppiness, back to the malt and back to the...
pretty much a 1 2 punch that’s enjoyable to drink. That’s what counts.
M- just fine and dandy. Medium carb supports the medium body nicely.
O- a very nice offering in the Beer Camp box for 2013. Thumbs up.

Bottle- Pours a dark mahogany color with a thick tan head that slowly fades to good lacing. Aroma is a mix of pine and roasted malt, with a bit of grain. Taste of roasted malt, some caramel sweetness with a bit of pine. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. There is a bit of burnt malt bitterness that lingers. Medium body, smooth, with a nice malty character. The 8.5% ABV is well hidden. Nice beer that becomes a bit more robust as it warms. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - SEP 2, 2013
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. after the mini-power outage, and snifter served showing good clarity, and an amber highlighted, walnut color, with a nice hat of off white/light tan foam that reduced rather quickly to a ring and film, but left some spidery, web-like lacing on the glass. The nose was esters/citrus, resin, light graininess, and caramel maltiness. Medium+ bodied, the flavor boasted a hefty, deep bitterness that was earthy, rindy, lingering, and paired up with some resiny dryness, and a touch of sweetness. Very nice, and moderately warming. Mild caramel aroma, pours a reddish-amber with a huge full off-white head. Nice balance between the caramel malts and the punch of bitter hops. Long lingering bitter finish. A nice addition to the style. Pastor (799) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Should be named not nugget nectar. I liked it but come on guys we know whats your trying to do. Good beer nothing to knock in the brew itself but the intentions may be questioned Iphonephan (6988) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 1, 2013
On draft at Trio in Kitty Hawk. Pours a clear amber with a thick ecru head receding with lots of lacing. Light floral hop nose. Flavors of caramel and strong citrus hops. Bitter finish.
