COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our aggressive Imperial Red Ale is a massive mix of smooth malts and West Coast hops that have no patience for the lupulin leery. This crimson beer starts with caramel-like malt flavor that can’t suppress the assertive, citrusy hop finale.

Bottle. Pours clear deep ruby mahogany, medium beige head that slowly dissipates leaving nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, resin, cat piss, caramel. Flavor is about the same, light sweet and medium bitter. Caramel adds a little sweetness up front, but then the bitterness takes over and brings it all home. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Perhaps a bit too much bitterness on the finish, but otherwise tasty.

bottle. amber red with small head. caramel malt and light crystal malts. big big hops that you’d expect. very nice and smooth despite some light booziness.

22 oz bottle pours a copper brown color without much head.lots of maltiness and a bit of sweetness. Mild hops.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. after the mini-power outage, and snifter served showing good clarity, and an amber highlighted, walnut color, with a nice hat of off white/light tan foam that reduced rather quickly to a ring and film, but left some spidery, web-like lacing on the glass. The nose was esters/citrus, resin, light graininess, and caramel maltiness. Medium+ bodied, the flavor boasted a hefty, deep bitterness that was earthy, rindy, lingering, and paired up with some resiny dryness, and a touch of sweetness. Very nice, and moderately warming.

Mostly clear ruby amber pour with thick khaki head. Significant lacing. Aroma is ver hoppy. Grapefruit mostly. Tropical fruit, citrus, and pine as well. Mild roast and caramel noticeable. Flavor is roasty and chocolate. Hop profile similar to aroma is still there but malt profile is more noticeable. Slightly boozy. Sweet but bitter finish. ---Rated via iPhone

From bottle. Pours a rich, dark red with minimal, but lingering head and big time lacing. Some hops and dark fruit in the nose. Good carbonation, slightly oily feel. Hoppy with a coffee-like finish. Nice wallop and easy to drink. Win.

draft dark red color with white head that last...nice lacing all the way down the glass. nice big hoppy aroma with a big malt backbone...solid flavor of hops and malt from start to finish..very good red ale with a bunch of hops and malt.

Complex aroma, malt with a hint of hops. I can't place the spicy note. Light tan head with some larger bubbles. Very dark brown-red color. Strong alcohol flavor that blends with the roasted malt. Dangerous beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, reddish-brown pour with a light tan head. The aroma has grapefruit along with faint caramel. It has a medium body with smooth texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a long finish and some noticeable alcohol.

Bottle. Pours ruby red with a small foamy head that never completely fades away. Aroma is funky but good. Lots of wet grassy mustiness but theres some great citrus and pine hops too mixing with the heavy, sweet caramel malt base. Taste is moderately sweet with a moderate bitterness too. Smooth sweet caramel malt mixed with some aggresive citrus, pine, and grassy hops. Finish is way too dry and a little soapy. Medium to thick body, creamy and oily mouthfeel. I really like this except for the ultra dry and soapy finish.
