12oz into a stemmed belgian. Head is heafty and full with marshmellow likeness. Aroma is sweet plums, rasin, blackberries, and soil. Taste is malty up front, the amber offering bring forth a smooth ride down the pallate, but forthcoming hop bombs ring in a diffrent tune and spice this one up some. Its a full frontal blast of amber excellence in the long run. Caramel malt tranfusions usher in a resounding balance of continuation, as does the yeast balance and the full bodied brew. The abv centers along the line of resounding but does not seem too out of line. This brew hols steady along the line and is my second favorite tihs year. I really like how the hops sneak right in and shower one with the bitterness and juicky flow of an ipa, then the malts overturn such action and befuddle the course, bring this version an imperial status. Nice brew. dlihcsnatas (761) - Temple, Texas, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Very dark amber brew with small quickly fading head. Aroma was like dewberries or blackberries with a small copper metalic hint. Taste was a more hops than expected but still pretty good. Other than the hops there was hits of the malts and a thick mouth feel that made this one really good. Hope the store has more of this Beer Camp sampler left cause looks like I’ll be buying them out. ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - SEP 2, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours a deep amber with a thick foamy ivory head. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, resin, earth. Taste is loaded with resinous and citrus hops followed by a huge caramel backbone. Nicely balanced. A bit of an alcohol warmth as it goes down. Bitter dry hop finish. DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy deep coppery ruby with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is heavy piney hops, citrus, caramel malt. Tastes caramel malty, very resiny and hoppy, with a bitter piney finish. This one is a hop heads wet dream. salvaticas (894) - - OCT 4, 2013

12oz. bottle. Intense aroma of malt toast and piney hop, fruity and fresh with notes of resin, earthiness, dark brown sugar and hop florals. Medium-dark red-amber color with a lasting, fine, uneven, off-white head and nice lacing. Flavor profile is very nicely balanced between the darkly sweet, toasty, amber malts and bitter, piney hop, some spruce and faint berry in the background, and finishing with a burst of green, leafy, earthy hop and unmistakable ale yeast fruitiness. Smooth, creamy, drying and lightly resinous mouthfeel, body is medium-full. Very slight warmth appearing late. SN literally puts on a clinic on how to brew an Imperial Red here. jonnyguns (1105) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 15, 2013
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep amber with creamy off white head that holds well. Nose shows toffee, caramel, piney and grassy hops. Taste is thick and creamy with toffee and caramel sweetness dominating up front leading to a piney hop, bitter finish. Easily the best beer of this band camp series!

Poured from bottle into pint glass: Pours dark amber / red with a one-finger cream colored head. Aroma consists of roasted malt, caramel, and a slight earthyness. Flavor is malty, carmel, a bit nutty, and then finishes with a strong hop note on the back end. Medium to full bodied with lots of carbonation which suits this beer well. My only complaint is that I find it to be a bit too bitter, but other than that, this is a really nice beer. jamestulloch (4214) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 10, 2013
Bottle from Cornelius. Murky amber/red body with a large beige head that holds well. Light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, a hint of liquorice, hard candy and green, leafy hops. Lovely depth of flavour - initial sweet flavours of wood and caramelised sugar, then citrus flavours come to the fore, followed by a biting peppery finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. A boozy, hoppy, flavoursome beer from one of the world’s best breweries. VictorStr (1740) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 25, 2014
Tyckte verkligen denna var kalas. Del sötma i aromen. Bra blandning mellan sötma och beskan i smaken. Beskan sitter kvar ett tag. Döljer akolholen på ett behagligt sätt. Lagom kolsyrad.
