Pours clear gold with a white head.
The aroma is earthy, piney hops.
The flavor is bitter and resiny. The bitterness falls somewhere between smooth and coarse.
Good solid IPA but needs a little more balance to be perfect. zsb19 (168) - Cincinnati, Kentucky, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Pours clear dark yellow with thick bubbly white head. Aroma is faint citrusy hops with some bready malt. Taste is sweet maltiness upfront that fades into juicy citrus hops on the follow through. Aftertaste is piney citrus hops that linger nicely. Palate is somewhat thin and sticky. Overall good balance and very drinkable IPA. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 10, 2013
12oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirits. Pours a clear, amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, pine, floral, a little bit of citrusy grapefruit. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is a little sweet, mostly bitter, hoppy, piney, some grass, some grapefruit, with a bitter finish that lingers for a while. Pushes the edge on bitterness for me. Close, but not quite over the edge. blutt59 (6562) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Bottled, amber color with no head. Piney bitter aroma with same flavor, a little astringent and harsh flatmatt (1563) - Northville, Michigan, USA - AUG 9, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours golden amber with an off-white head and a few medium pieces of debris. Moderate piney, citrus, spicy hop aromas. Flavor is mostly of spicy, earthy, and pine hops, toasty malts. Honestly I don’t think this is that great an IPA.

Pretty standard IPA from SN. Aroma is a citrus fruits and pine. Taste is somewhat similar. Good looking beer in the class. Not bad. blackflag321 (689) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Bottle pour to shaker. Piney with malt dominating over the hops; a bit watery finish.
