Pours a clear orange colour with a white head. Aroma of sour berries, green apples, dough-like yeast and caramel. Flavour of caramel malts, sourish berries, lime, grassy hops and floral notes. Strong yeastiness as well. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a yeasty tart finish with some sweetness. Interesting and unique.
Sampled on tap on 7/20/2011 at Beer Revolution. This Premium lager pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head, with decent retention. The aroma is fruity, sweet and yeast with a touch of tartness. A medium bodied lager. The malts are fruity and sweet, peaches. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation. A touch tart with some sweetness. Light and refreshing. A little bready and tart. Nice combination. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

Tap at Opening Gala SF beer week 2011. Wow- Loved this stuff. Pours a nice mostly clear deep golden with a pillow white head- lasting and good lace. Aroma is big huge fresh malts and hops- bready, doughy, not sure I get any sourdough character, but it is just big and fresh all around- spicy and floral hops all around. Flavor is super clean, big biscuity and fresh bread, with grassy hops, slight citrus, then floral and spicy European hops. Clean medium bitter finish and so damn easy to drink a ton of this stuff. On tap at 21st Amendment Brewery, San Francisco, 28th Feb 2011. Clear straw gold with a line of white head. Light, slightly hoppy nose. Definite sourdough bread taste and a tart finish with lingering dryness. A refreshing drink, not too yeasty. Interesting and different without being a novelty drink. Aroma is very yeasty. Yeasty combined with apple juice, but I got no sourdough-like character in either the aroma or flavor. Hops centered around a very floral note, and the malts kinda ease into place in both aroma and flavor. Finish is incredibly clean with a semi-woody/earthy finish. Solid beer.
