Pretty nice brew from the beer camp series. Has a sweet, malty taste with a nice crisp and bitter finish. A well balanced beer, enjoyable beer.

Beer camp #8. A few months old, but kept in the fridge the whole time. Pleasant floral and spicy hops in the nose along with a touch of toast. Golden colored with brilliant clarity, a smallish bone white head and steady carbonation evident. Nice malt backbone that showcases a moderate munich addition, so it is bread crusty and enjoyable and a nice amount of spicy and floral hops. Well balanced and enjoyable. Some lingering malt and spicy hops.

Bottle. A clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, bread, fruit, and some sourness as well. Taste is lightly sweet, with notes of bread, fruit, toast, malts. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Medium bodied, somewhat syrupy.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy white head. Nose is fruity yeast, grainy malts and honey like sweetness. Flavor is crisp and clean maltiness with a herbal character. Nice east drinker and seesionable beer.

NayTron (133) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - DEC 1, 2011
Pours a honey orange. Aroma of yeast, caramel, sweet floral notes and roasted malts. Taste follows the nose. Mellow and sweet with lively carbonation. This would make a great summer day or night beer. Good balance and easy to drink. Nice beer.

Appearance: golden coppers under a large pithy blotchy head which fades splotchy and broken. Swirls clumpy and bubbly.
Nose: biscuit, crackers, saltines, dried straw. Lemon pith and green grass in the back. Table crackers. Dried stems and flower petals. Sunshine and dried grass.
Palate: smooth, creamy, and bready up front. Breads lead into saltine and water crackers. Lemon peel and pith along the sides. Bread sticks to the middle with just a hint of honey. Bitterness is subtle, bittersweet. Dry finish in the back of straw and crackers.
Final Thoughts: nice. A fine contender for the original Steam Beer ala California Common.

Clear golden honey coloured body with short head. Rich malty aroma with a sweet taste that is not too heavy, a bit of a woody note, light caramel and finish of hops.

Bottle from Whole Foods, Fair Oaks, VA. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with lots of stuff floating around. Fluffy white head. Flavor of toasted grain and raisins. Sweet, but nicely balanced with a hoppy finish.
