DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 30, 2009
(11/18/08) Draught at The Brickskeller in Washington DC. Hazy golden color with a medium stable white head. Aroma has some funky , quite infected-like, qualities (not good but no so bad either) and some spiciness. Sourish flavor, a bit bretty with some sweet malt, fruits and spicy notes. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear copper with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of spice, carmel, straw and light fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, spice, light carmel and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2009
Draft at SN tasting at Olives. Poured dark clear copper with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spice, fruity and floral aroma. Medium to full body with sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer goes well with the calamari app.

A blonde saison with a thick white head. An organic smelling ale with Brett, raspberries, epsom salts...wow! In mouth, a nice light saison with orange peels, smooth and fresh, coriander notes. Quite nice! On tap at Falling Rock Tap room, 24 Jan. 2009.

marcus (10138) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 18, 2008
On tap at Toronado SF. This golden/copper ale poured with a thin off-white head. There is a slightly sweet caramel malt flavor and some decent hopping. It’s a good enough beer, but lacks character.

JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2008
Tap at Toronado San Diego. Pale golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly soft and spicy. Light clove and cinnamon character over a fairly bready malt base. LIghtly peppery and quite spicy/fruity w/o the cloying sweetness that typifies US version of this style. Light cherryish fruitiness and a bit of clove/stone fruit pit spiciness. A bit of almondy character. Fairly straightforward yeasty component, but it’s still pretty nice.

onceblind (9397) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2017
Brilliant clear golden color with a thin very sticky white head. Nice Belgian yeasty peppery and lightly tree fruity nose with a kiss of wheat bread. Smooth full flavor that’s crisp and Belgian pale malty with lots of smooth peppery esters and a clean fruity note. Crisp malty yeasty flavor at the end.

3.5

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Nice spicy aroma with yeast. Spicy, yeasty flavor with light malt and light fruitiness. Medium body. Yeast, spice and light mineral lingers. Easy drinking.

Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 31, 2009
Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of spice, some floral hints, dry malt, grassy. Tastes grassy and dry with some fruity hints on the finish.

3.3
JohnnyJ (5545) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 5, 2009
On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Golden yellow pour. Bready malts, lemon peel, spice, pepper, and faint funkiness. Not that bad.
