"this one stood out a little with a low ibu crisp hop bite and a thoroughly rfreshing palate and flavor. earthy hops and some pine, with some roasted bready malts. does well on nitro." TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Tap at Blind Tiger. Poured a brown hue with a white head. Nose is roasty and malty with hint of hops. Body is traditional porter. Very thin, almost too thin? But no , it’s not too thin, as it warmed, it actually became creamy. A nice blend of roasted malts,Coffee, and light hops. Tasty and refreshing. A good summer, or anytime for that matter porter. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 29, 2012
Nitro. Pours near black with a beige head. Lighter aroma, with lightly roasted malts, toasted grains, and a light sweetness. The flavor has roasted malts, toasted grain, a hint of dark chocolate sweetness, and just a hint of tartness. Decent. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - APR 27, 2012
On draft at Blind Tiger a week or so ago with Andrew. Not really sure if this is technically a stout so feel free to edit style. Pours a deep black body with nice carbonation and thick tan lacing. Aroma is smokey, toasted malts, barley, and a nice hop presence. Mouthfeel is creamy with notes of smoked malts, roast, and fresh hop. Interesting.
