Golden orange with small white head. Aroma citrus, yeast. Medium body. Light carbonation. Flavor is pretty bitter up front. Citrus hops predominate, some bready yeast. There is also a more candied non-hop citrus flavor in the background which lends a little sweetness. Very good. closey22 (2126) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Orange with rimming lacy white head; aroma of sweet Belgian yeastiness; Flava is crisp bitter with yeasty sugary; feels crisp and light; finishes bitter and dry. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013

Appearance: Clear amber body with a short rocky and dense light tan head.
Aroma: The aroma is complex, some bready, citrus, banana, spice, lemon, and melon on the nose.
Taste: Bready, banana, lemon, coconut, and spice. Lot’s going on, but great balance. Fruit loop flavors linger on the finish.</br>
Palate: Bready texture, soft carbonation.
Overall: I love this. This is a perfect marriage between two styles.
On tap. Served in a ribbed tulip glass/marital aid. Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Nice clean fruity Belgian yeast, citrus hops, and malty caramel aroma and taste with a bright lively palate and a good crisp finish. Well balanced and not over hopped. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 30, 2013
Pours golden yellow with a good white head. The nose is honey, cloves, pepper and light pine. The taste is high sweet and medium bitter. The texture is a little oily at first but cleans up with length. The body is medium and finish is long.

Pours a very light orange. Has a soft bite to it with plenty of hops all around. The Belgian side of the equation is less than expected but I enjoyed it and I hope to try it again to get a clearer feel for it. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 26, 2013
Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Translucent golden, large frothy white head, nice lacing, light carbonation.   Soft mealy dank nose.   Not hoppy, and not terribly bright in terms of Belgian aromas.   Smells very American in its mealiness.   Bright mealiness on the tongue, thankfully not too heavy.   Little hop bite that comes across more of an astringent bitterness than hops.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Strong straw notes, which is perhaps why the astringency.   I can see the strong blonde, but IPA?   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a soft hop bite, but moreso a bright mealiness that has some astringent aspects.   Not as much of an IPA as it is a strong blonde ale.   Tiz okay. On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a golden color without much head. Slight Belgian yeast taste and strong hop flavors that don't seem to go together too well.
