Bottle thanks to my buddy Jarod. Pour is rich copper and Ruby with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor are big toffee and rich vanilla with a touch of heat and and some spicy notes. A bit less sweet than expected with more bite. Solid and nice.

Clear brilliant Amber under a foamy ivory head. Bright woody sharp nose with earthy piney bitterness and deep earthy caramel and more sharp white oak. Bright flavor of the same; boozy, loads of wood and whiskey, and malty Barleywine tones of toffee and subtle cherry, and more whiskey and a lot more bright oak. Sooo much wood.

Bottle shared with a friend. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is rich red berry fruit alcohol sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth alcoholic bitter, over ripe fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

710ml bottle. Amber pour tan head. Firm booze in the aroma, fusel, woody, earthy, danky, farty hops, butterscotch. Smells decent enough. Flavor is good, fusel, plum wine, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla, still quite bitter. Good flavor. It’s boozemania though.

I’ve only had 2 of the 4 beers in the 4-pack I got at Costco, and it’s already a steal. This is probably my favorite Bigfoot. Mahogany pour, the vanilla, oak and sweet booze play off the still bitter hoppy Bigfoot base really well and make this smooth and easier drinking than the whiskey version was. Good stuff.

Aroma is earthy malts, caramel and bourbon. The flavor is caramel, bourbon, strong malts and a mildly bitter/increasingly warming/alcohol finish.

24oz bottle from Costco. Pours a deep, dark amber with a thick sand-colored head. Aroma is mild, with oak up front and light hoppiness. Upon tasting, the first thing I got was the lovely oak and bourbon flavor. Not as sweet as I usually find barleywines. Maybe a bit bready? Medium body, with a creamy texture and average carbonation. The finish is a bit of hoppy bitterness, with the predominant oak hanging on in my sinus cavity.
