Sold only on draft at the brewery. A wonderful old world style ale. This very light flavored ale is brewed using 50% Maris Otter English malts, Challenger hops and Styrian Golding hops from Slovenia. A refreshing brew for Spring.

"another "not bad for a blonde" brews. delicate hop profile in the aroma and taste...would make a decent summer beer, but in january, not quite what i was looking for. grainy, crisp and sweet (like stout said). good into to micros."

Sampled at San Carlos art and wine faire. A refreshing brew. Not a great brew but nice for a Holden ale. Well crafted.

joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - SEP 14, 2013
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is really nice with spicy noble hops and fresh grains. The flavor is the same. Good dry, crisp maltiness with some earthy, herbal and floral hops near the finish. Very clean and sessionable. One of my favorite blondes and a beer I would love to have regularly.

Tap @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. Pours a clear light yellow appearance with a white head. Fairly plain, a bit grassy, lemony aroma. Fairly dry, grassy, a bit grainy flavor. Easy drinking but boring.

Didnt like this beer. Not any real positive qualities. Just tasted cardboard, water and soggy socks. It was clean but a gross malt profile. Not good at all.

Served on draft at Capital Alehouse Downtown. Pours a clear golden color with a frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of sweet bready malts, slight graininess and faint grassy hops. The taste is bitter grassy hops, grainy malts and faint fruity notes. Medium bodied.

(Bottle) Pours golden with a white head. The aroma is of toasted malt, oranges, and flowers. Undertones of canned/tropical fruits and grass. The flavor is light sweet and light bitter. Tones of bread, mild citrus and some fruits. The mouthfeel is clean and medium carbonated. Light bodied.
