Sampled at Rare Beer Tasting II in Denver on September 17, 2010. Light, yellowish amber color (more golden-orange, actually) with a frothy white head. Aroma of… hmm… smells like a barrel-aged tripel. With brandy. Whatd’ya know? Very good. This is exactly what you’d expect by the name of the beer. Has somewhat of an orange character to it as well. Very smooth... the brandy adds a nice fruity edge to the Belgian-style sweetness of the beer. This is actually very well-crafted. This is great... it’s a tarty, fruit-wood-Belgian yeast treat. Tap at EBF. Smells exactly like (??? word unreadable), anise, brandy. Nutty, tastes like French street food (jesus, I must have been really drunk at this point, wtf is French street food?). Balanced brandy, yeast, doughtnut. Very... clear?

Draft at EBF. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head. Apple tones soaked in brandy sweet woodiness. Brandy with some bread y belgian yeast tones, fruity and vinous somewhat reminiscent of sangria. Fruity with a light citrus and brandy warming. V. Nice.
