A - Served a super clear golden-copper color with a thin covering of sticky white lace. The lace fades down leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a nice balance of sweet caramel malts and some citrus and floral hops. There is also just a touch of bready smells in the background.
T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts and some citrus hops and light bitterness. Through the middle, the sweetness grows a bit with some bready flavor joining in and some floral hops as well. The finish is a nice balance of sweet caramel malts and hops that linger just a bit.
M - Medium-light bodied with mild carboantion. The beer felt very smooth with a really refreshing mouthfeel.
D - Super drinkable. Very nice malt and hop balance and a super sessionable beer. marcus (10142) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 3, 2011
On tap at Toronado SF. Pours clear bronze with no head and a toffee aroma. There is a flat caramel malt flavor with a little finishing bitterness. Not up to SN standards. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Cask. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and earth aroma. Grapefruit and bready flavor with light earth. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and breadiness lingers with light earth. 944play (415) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - AUG 30, 2011
Gravity cask at Toad in the Hole. Slightly hazy amber with low head. Petroleum nose dominates over herbal and Munich niceties. Flavor is far more agreeable with caramel, pleasant black tea and gentle malt. Palate is well cleared and a tiny bit astringentized. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - AUG 30, 2011
Cask at Toad in the Hole. Pours a slightly hazy, bright orange color; thin off-white head. Biscuity notes, red fruits, and some candies oranges and light citrus; sweet and candied. Medium body; light carbonation. Plenty of candied oranges, light biscuity notes, and some red fruits; on the sweet side, would prefer this with more co2. Basic, tasty, but a bit lifeless. Medium-length finish: oranges and lingering red fruitiness.

Cask @ Toronado. Easy drinking cask bitter. A soft fruitiness, a nice maltiness and a touch of hops. Enjoyable, not often you get to enjoy something well-made+fresh in this style in the states. JohnnyJ (5545) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 18, 2011
On cask (surprise!) at Toronado SD. Clear copper amber pour, small foamy white head. Soft malt and fruit aroma. Flavors of sweet bread, fruit, very light herbal hops. A simple, soft, malty beer, and sugary around the edges. Still nice and enjoyable.
