Pours a deep amber color with a lasting small head. Aroma and taste primariy of hops, but with a decent malt balance. Dry, an exceptional mouthfeel and wonderful level of carbonation. An excellent IPA. leaparsons (10700) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2005
Deep amber with a disapating head. Aromas are sweet, yet bitter pine hops, oily and fresh. Flavours are as hoppy as the aroma - sweet pine with some fruitiness, especially grapefruit in its bitterness. This is a very hoppy beer that is never aggressive or unpleasant. It is very well done. Nice hoppy finish. A proper IPA and one of the best beers I have ever had. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2005
Pours copper with a medium, lasting white head. Big hop aroma, heaps of grapefruit, bit of cara toffee, touch of orange peel too. Dry all the way through, wonderful hoppy fruity flavour. Quite woody (pine), nutty too. Medium bodied. Decent beer, alcohol completely disguised. ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2005
Bottle;A reddish colored beer on top of a red/brown beer. Heavy aroma of UD C* hops - almost perfumed - nice!. Dry taste with great hoppiness and some caramel. Dry finish and medium carbonation. A nice beer with a long bitter aftertaste. barleyPops (1142) - Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA - FEB 12, 2005
bottle. poured a ruby - amber - orange with a creamy tan head. I’m not much of a hop head and the aroma and first few sips are flavors and aroma of HOPS. But I find as I got to the second half of this tastey brew, I just wanted more. A quality brew and one any hop head and non-hop head should try.

Bottle at Ølbaren Cph. Dk. Amber colour with a big white head. Cascada hoppy spicy aroma and a hoppy very dry spicy taste. Medium to full body and a dry finish. green (186) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 10, 2005
Pours amber. Very light head. Nice fruit aromas. Cherry? Very, very nice flavor. Suggestion of BooBerry. Man this just outstanding. Layers, well composed, interesting. Jeezz. There is just too much going on to describe. The finish is perfection in bitterness with a wonderful aftertaste. This went over the bar. shameusburp (171) - Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2005
Nice choice around the holidays. It’s like SNPA but with spices. Hop finish keeps ya coming back. IslandHaole (1291) - Misawa, JAPAN - FEB 10, 2005
Nice amber/orange color with a tan head. Hoppy, cascade for sure but others too, a bit spicy. Well balanced with malts, Crystal and/or Munich? Nice.
Resinous hop flavor with sweet middle and a bitter follow that begs you take another sip. A nice treat on this very snowy night! doubletriple (52) - Illinois, USA - FEB 7, 2005
On Tap at BWW’s a 23 oz "tall". We all know what’s up with this one. An American classic, hoppy and full of flavor.
