Rich dark amber pour with beige cap that fades to a ring. Aroma is earthy hop, floral notes with a hint of pine and just-noticeable bready malt. Flavor follows identically as the well-balance ensemble of flavors meld with a slightly hop-forward advance throughout the sip. Super tasty, and very pleasant aftertaste. I usually have this each year and enjoy it, but dont remember it being damn good.

Pours a clear coppery orange-red with an off white foamy head. Light aroma of pine and malts. Fairly smooth with a malt base and a slightly bitter but smooth finish. Flavors remind me of a lighter version of Weyerbacher Double Simcoe or Founders ReDankulous. Very enjoyable.

I had it on tap. It pours amber with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is piny hops and caramel. The taste is caramel malt, roasty, and hops. Theres a really nice balance here. This is very good.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2016 Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, reddish amber with massive sparkle, 1 1/2-finger width rocky, foamy beige head with good retention and light, sudsy lacing. Aroma is bready malt balanced with tropical fruit and light resin hops. Taste is sweet tropical fruit balanced with the bitter resin over caramel malt backbone. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, average carbonation and bitter slightly dominating over sweet at the finish. Overall, a really attractive beer with more of an APA feel than IPA. Good.

Bitter IPA; good stuff. Nice thick head, lots of lace and a clear dark amber color. Fresh hop, malty aroma. Flavors like nose, much more bitter than sweet, very piney.

Cloudy, dark amber pour, with a thick brownish white head. Aroma is really nice, strong with pine and spiciness. A little bitter bite on the first sip. Solid IPA taste, with some of the peppery taste I smelled earlier coming through. A tad sour on the back end. I like it, but maybe a rung below some of my favorites.

12 oz. bottle. Poured amber, with a lasting off white head and good lacing. Aroma of pine, pine needles. Taste was medium bitter, piney hops, peppery.
