3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft from SDBrewCo during CBC. This was listed as a DIPA, and stylistically seemed to fit the category. Arrived a clear orange amber color with a small, creamy white head. Nice crisp hop aroma, with lots of citrus and florals, summer fruits and hints of pine. Puckering hop profile, more citrus and pine, Sierra Nevada house yeast character and some toasty malts. Medium body, tingly carbonation. Enjoyable.
I see this is retired, but I have a bottle with this description and a bottling date of 9/12 16. 12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear amber/copper color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma has some caramel sweetness, citrus and floral hops and some pale toasted grains. The flavor is a blend of caramel malts offering moderate sweetness, citrus hops, hints of pine, and toasted grainy bread. Finish has some bitterness to it, medium bodied. Inn, San Francisco,15/08/12 before heading out into the city for the first time. Mid-hazy orange with a slimming white foam. Aroma distinctly leafy with hints of spliff, lemon zest and rabbit hutch; more than a hint of spliff, in fact. Lemony with traces of flowers, ganja, breakfast cereals and toast. Bitter finish for a wheat (?). OK.
Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, and pine needles, leading to a bitter finish. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2011

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Deep gold, thin beige head. Good hops as you’d expect. A touch sweet from the ABV. Good hops on finish though. Good resin, some acidity and puckering. Rather good.
