COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A cup of joe and a bold beer can thwart the winter cold so we blended them for the ultimate warmer. Our Coffee Stout is a fusion of dark roasted malts and rich, cold-brewed coffee for layers of bittersweet, fruity, dark chocolate and caramel-like flavors.

A fine coffee stout that delivers deep roast bean aroma and flavor, but is still beery. Notes of dark chocolate and caramel are there in background. Nice dark brown our with a lacy brown head. Drinks full but still light enough to chug. Long coffee fade. Excellent.

1/03/2017 (12 fl. oz. bottle): Mocha-like aroma of medium-roast coffee with milk and semi-sweet chocolate; deep coffee brown color with a dense, lasting tan-colored head; rich mocha flavor (semi-sweet chocolate and coffee that isn't overpowering or burnt), balanced sweetness, dark fruits as the beer warms, roasty and slightly nutty in the finish (more espresso-like finish as the beer warms as well); medium-full bodied, smooth and creamy mouthfeel; really quite an excellent coffee stout and I like it very much!

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours dark brown with a creamy, tan head and lacing. The aroma is coffee, vanilla, and caramel. The taste is the same. The sweetness is balanced nicely with a dry bitterness. The carbonation is higher than expected and adds to the character of this. This is really good.

12 oz. botle from the"Snowpack" mix pack. Fred Meyer Salem OR Black body with brown showing at the edges..great thick and creamy light tan head, Aroma of creamy sweet medium roasted coffee and slightly burnt toast. Taste is the same but with the coffee a bit stronger and the sugary cream coming in at the end..then a bitter dark chocolate after taste. Mouth feel is rather flat ..weirdly its better straight from the bottle. OK beer..but had many far better coffee stouts/porteers.

Black pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is fantastic, roasted malts, sugar and coffee. Nice creamy body. Covfefe is definitely there, but not bitter at all. Almost a milk stout, seems like there is some lactose in there. Caramel on the back end. Pretty darn good.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2017 A good if unremarkable coffee stout. Lots of coffee flavor, could use a bit more maltiness. Very pleasant finish.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2017 Coffee flavor is a bit overwhelming. Not bad, but I prefer a little more complexity.

Dark black pour with tan head. Nose is coffee, chocolate, roasty dark malt. Smooth and complex flavor, nice mix of malt and mocha.
