COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our handmade Estate Ale highlights the flavors of home. From the sun-drenched fields of California’s North Valley comes our Estate Ale. It’s rich with the flavors of the valley—hops with earthy, grapefruit-like flavors and layered spicy aromas, and barley with mild sweetness and smooth, toasted flavors. Enjoy this remarkable homegrown ale, made with organic wet hops and barley grown at our brewery in Chico, and one of the few estate-made ales produced anywhere in the world. Together, these crops grow alongside the brewery to make a truly unique brew.

Bright orange pour from 22oz bottle at Pazzo. White head. Citrus, bready and malty aroma. Taste is interesting. Grows on you after a few sips. Super bitter, citrus and pine, earthy and malty. Decent IPA. This is a 2014 rated in 2015

Excellent beer! Pours a full copper color with a full body hop aroma filled with grapefruit and citrus. The taste is lightly malty with a moderately bitter finish.

Hazy orange with off white head. Aroma is grapefruit citrus rind. Taste follows nose. A litter over balanced to the bitter side.

Draft. Pale copper in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of white grapefruit, wet grain and wet grass. Vague citrus, sprouted grains, toasted sesame seeds and earth in the mouth. Moderate bitterness. The whole sprouted grain and earthy notes seemed to interfere too much with any hop goodness. Only average.

Shared a bomber with Jennifer. In a word, delicious. Pours beautifully- rich orange with red hue, generous, fluffy white head and lacing for days. Clings to the glass for dear life. Really easy to drink and a subtle and classy way. Hop notes come through but don’t overpower- think pine, orange, earth, floral and just the right malt bill for sweet caramel, bready notes. Finish is crisp and somewhat bitter, but pleasant. Love the fact that everything is grown on site- pretty special.

bottle-Friday Night Flights @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber color, ivory head cover, dots and spots of lace. Taste is semi-sweet malt that grows and becomes sweeter in the palate, adding clear floral hops early in a lingering finish. A big, satisfying brew, palate cleansing and refreshing. Recommended.

Bottle @ home. Amber, clear, thick head. Bit bready, rich, nutty, very dry hop finish.

Pours a reddish clear color with a good thick head. Aroma is hoppy, earthy, pine, citrus, resin, grapefruit, caramel, and a thick biscuit note to finish. Taste is clean, crisp, hoppy, citrus, pine, grapefruit, followed by the biscuit and malt. Average beer, not quite worth the price I feel.

Pours amber with white head. Hop, citrus, pine caramel and malt aroma. Pine, hop, citrus, herb, caramel, earthy and malt flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Malt, citrus and hop finish. Very Sierra Navaday.
