750ml bottle 2012, poured into my snifter beautifully. Clear, but deep amber colored, red almost. Atop sits a four finger, serious head. Creamy and off white, looks gorgeous. Aroma is off the charts. Fresh, earthy and citrusy hops and toasty, oatmeal-like malted barley. The effort and craftsmanship of this beer are extrodinary. The taste pulls out tons of unique flavors from the wet hopping process, crisp grapefuit rind bitterness, balanced nicely by vanilla earthy sweetness, toasty caramel malts back it up nicely. Smells and tastes hand crafted, hand made, home brewed! The mouthfeel is outstanding, nice full body and great carbonation. This is a fantastic beer, I’m glad I got to try this super fresh IPA even though I’m on the opposite side of the country.
Clean, clear copper color with a big soapy white head of foam. The aroma and taste are light in orange peel, barley, with herbaceous, earthy, and peppery hops. Leaves a lot to be desired from such a cool bottle and the marketing that goes with it. sonnycheeba (6439) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 10, 2017
Bottle. Pours amber. Aroma and flavor are caramel and biscuit malt, floral and great hops, clean with a touch of sweetness and dry, bitter finish. Medium body. crajun (1268) - , Texas, USA - APR 30, 2017
Not an ipa guy but this was very good. only had a couple of ounces. many many things going on - resin, light citrus, medicinal in flavor. hops are not bitter - balanced the many things happening here Itzjerm (3136) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAR 27, 2017
Very earthy flavors. Hops are prominent. Has some herbal flavors also. Almost a gin like IPA. Or a Yeager IPA? Unique. Not much citrus. Head fades but stays present. Still balanced. Very interesting. Very light on the nose. But some herbal hops stays.

Tap at Clubhouse BFD. Pours clear filtered golden. White head. Aroma is orange, lemon, fresh citrus, pine, grapefruit, very piney. Flavor is fresh clean citrus, crisp hop bite, orange, pine. Nice. Very clean West coast IPA. Medium bitterness. Standard. Fine but forgettable.

750ml bottle from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa. Pours a golden orange with an off-white head that sticks around for a while and leaving a nice coat of lace on the sides of the snifter. Aroma has pine and citrus and caramel with something herbal or yeasty. Taste is of sweet caramel, tangy pine, grapefruit and some bready malts, with that solid Sierra Nevada yeast. Medium bodied, the carbonation is solid and there is a bit of an alcohol presence. The blend is solid to good; the sweetness of the malts is a strong factor in there, but eventually the grapefruit component becomes more of grapefruit rinds, and the strong hoppiness of that becomes the biggest player. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet, but the sweetness still hangs in for balance. Well, this one initially was much different than the middle or the end of the bottle. Sweet, somewhat ineffectual and bready/yeasty became a grapefruit rind bomb. Still stayed enjoyable, although salty and rougher. 13.8 coachd (945) - Missouri, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Citrusy earthy dank hops in the aroma. Grapefruit, tangerine, some honey, very well balanced scent. See through light amber color with a large off-white head. Tastes earthy and dank as well; not much up front then the hops hit you with a slightly bitter grapefruit rind aftertaste. The palate is a little weak. The amount of carbonation is spot on, but other than that, it’s a bit watery. Great idea from SN, but the execution just falls short of many of their beers. Pours a cooppery amber from a bottle. Fig paste aroma follows in the mouth along with grapefruit and a faint biscuit. How is this not an APA? Good beer nonetheless. ttoadee (1608) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2016
Clear copper pour, fluffy slightly tan head. Nose is caramel and herbs. Bitter. Middle is sweet caramel, wood shavings, earthy malt. Finish is pithy bitter citrus, not overpowering. Outstanding beer. crispaire (247) - - NOV 2, 2016
2016 vintage bottle. Poured a nice orangy amber. Good nose with notes of citrus, earth, and hops. Decent balance of hops and malt. Drinkable IPA, but doesn’t have that dankness of fresh hop ales I’ve come to enjoy.
