COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flipside Red IPA is a rebuttal to the mild-mannered beers of summer. Tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors from the use of whole-cone Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops are the perfect notes for this in-between season.

Sierra Nevada. Good as always. A base ipa similar to their flagship ipa. Darker with more caramel notes with a near perfect body. Good thick head and the beer produces a good tight foam when drinking. Really solid beer.

I really enjoyed this. Lots of hops and malts throughout with a great hop flavor. I may start drinking this over the Torpedo.

Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA is a real treat from an established craft brewery. Aroma of citrus fruit coming from a deep red pour with a nice head. Tropical and citrus fruit notes are prominent in the taste with just enough bitterness. Finish is clean with the citrus and tropical fruit notes remaining. Flipside Red is a nice end of summer brew to quench your palate.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Appearance is an amber color with a thin-ish beige head. Aroma is wonderful tropical and citrus hops: grapefruit, mango, pine, etc. Just beautiful. Taste is a bit more piney than the aroma, but heavy on the citrus hops. However, while the taste is mostly hops, they are hardly overwhelming. Just a wonderful all-around IPA. Delicious and easy to drink.

I’m a COLORADO homebrewer but Sierra Nevada ALWAYS makes good beer, this is no exception.

Excellent IPA. Red color, thick head. Spicy, fruity hop character. Grapefruit and caramel evenly balanced.

Dark, guiness type look. Small head. Tastes like an IPA normally would. Goes down very smooth and is a very tasty and relatively light IPA.

Pours copper red with a large khaki head. Smells of tropical fruits and pine. Taste is bitter, woody, with subtle tropical fruits and citrus notes. Medium-bodied with slick texture and average mouth-carbonation, Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA finishes with a lingering bitterness.

An India not-so-pale ale. Pretty reddish brown with a thick beige head. Awesome nose melding caramel, orange, mango and resinous pine. Nice spicy hop flavors zing the tongue but are followed quickly by building malts. Finally a quick wash of carbonation carries away residual bitterness lending a mellow finish of malt and hop fruitiness. Excellent.

Bottle. Citrus hop and sweet malt aroma. Beautiful deep red color and clear. Keeps a thin head and leaves some lace. Great taste of spice and citrus hops with plenty of sweet crystal malt. Some lingering bitterness and toasted malt. Medium body.
