On draught at a Phish festival, 12/31/16. JStax (7242) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2016
Clear, beeswax yellow-golden with a, yes, foamy white head.
Spicy, fresh grass and herbs with sourdough-like malts behind them and a clean, easygoing bitterness. Pepper and light honey lingering.
More sourdough and lots of pepper, grass and fresh herbs, with good attenuation and ample carbonation. Quite nice, certainly miles ahead of most of the crap served at huge venues.
Draft pour at the source. The beer is a pale gold with a white head of foam. Corny and grassy aroma. Sweet and corny taste. Light body and medium carbonation. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 8, 2015
On tap at The Griffon Pub in East Amherst, NY. Pour is clear golden with a small white head and decent lacing. Grassy, herbal, biscuit, slightly chalky, and doughy aroma. Taste is grassy, biscuity, light lemons, minerals, herbal hoppy, and crackers - crisp and zippy finish. Light body with high carbonation. This really hit the spot - great pilsner. williamherbert (1544) - Syracuse, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Malt is a bit grainy, some bubblegum. (But then again I just chewed some bubblegum.) Those nose is all malt grains and a bread biscuit. Golden color. Chewy feel. It’s Sierra so even their average beers are pretty good. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Great pilsner brought out for the Phish festivals. Had my initial one at Superball and try and pick it up whenever they are touring. Clear, crisp and refreshing with a nice traditional taste.

Pour on tap, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice lemon peel, grass, and floral hops into a nice vanilla, bready note with a hint of earthy spice, slight dough. Taste was a nice hoppy mix of herbal, floral hops into a bit of spice, yeast, touch of grain, slight biscuit, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry. Nice. ben4321 (6773) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Location: Draft from State Line, 11/4/14 jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Aroma: The aroma is clean pilsener malts, bread, and a little spice
Appearance: It pours a golden color with a decent amount of white head on top
Flavor: Tastes along the same lines, clean and malty, cereal, caramel, spice, and light bitterness
Palate: The body leans light, with a smooth, clean feel, and a crisp, lightly dry finish
This is a pretty solid example of the style in my opinion. It is easy drinking and light bodied without being overly watery. Not an amazing beer, but something I’d happily drink in many situations.
Draft. From notes. Pale malts and minimal hoppy notes. Easy drinking but not much going on. sloth (2945) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - OCT 26, 2014

Draft at Madrone’s in Frederick, MD. Served in a pils glass, clear golden color with white head. Aroma of pale malt sweetness, grain and faint grassy/herbal hop note. Taste adds notes of straw, cereal and light earthy hops. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Pretty nice straight forward pils.
