Bottle poured by hellbilly -- thanks, Chef! Pours straw in color with a foamy white head. Smells mildly of hops, caramel, and citrus zest. Tastes the same with an added note of what I want to describe as sun flower seeds. Seems more like a session beer than 6%. Really mellow. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 21, 2010
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2010 Gold with good, creamy white head / Floral nose of honey and grain / Medium body, some sweetness, with smooth balance of malts and hops on the good, bitter finish / Candied flavors of toasted grain, grapes, and clover honey / Very nice from the reliable SN. junon (430) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - JAN 21, 2010
Wow. Floral and vegetal bouquet. The aroma is spice, bread, buttery, and grass come together. Flavour is bold but still subdued which makes it very drinkable. Again its a compilation of spice, bread, grass, and a certain amount of cream. This is a very well balanced and complex brew. Great label. Tap @ the Hop & Vine... Poured clear golden/orange with a fizzy, white head. Aroma of cracker-like malts, passion fruit, and hops. Salty and bready, which balanced the hops. Overall very hoppy for a bock. Still pretty light and refreshing. Clean, creamy finish.

This poured poured clear gold color with a good sized foamy white head with long duration and good lacing. Nose of light caramel malts and floral hops. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel and pleasant carbonation. The flavor is mild but tasty and the finish lightly bitter. Not a complicated beer, but very easy to drink. doomfistinc (82) - New Mexico, USA - JAN 19, 2010
12oz bottle from a friend. Pours a darker than average lager color with a very small head. Aroma is bready with a hint of corn. Very meager flavor. Can’t name one quality about it. Decent mouth feel with mild carbonation. Very inoffensive lager. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 19, 2010
draft. clear honey, small white ring. nose is semi-sweet honeysuckle and hay. moderately sweet, medium to light body, little fizzy. twangy extract syrup throughout, under-attenuated and syrupy, both otherwise inoffensive

Pours a golden with a thin tan head, aroma of slightly sweet pale malts and grassy noble hops... Flavor follows suit with notes of grassy hops in behind layers of malts, yet the somewhat sweet aroma does not translate... Good easy drinking malty bock beer, not my style of beer...
