This is a wonderful beer. I had it on draft and the keg was two years old! It was delicious. We used CO2 to dispense the beer but the head was so tight and creamy it appeared to have been poured with a nitrogen / CO2 mixture. This really is a great effort by Sierra Nevada and it makes me feel better about the brewery since I think their flagship pale ale has been slipping in flavor in recent years. Heavy shit baby. This beer packs tons of hop and malt flavor. I wish it was available year round but due to the way they make it this would be impossible. Giant (4) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2004 does not count
This is an incredible wet-hopped ale. Nice and citric. Very nice body and color. A must have in autumn. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - OCT 9, 2007
Pours copper w/ a full, thick froth. Superb hangtime reducing slowly to a full fluffy ring and island spatter. Aromas of fresh, bright, crispy hops. Nice! Full nectar w/ creamy residual effers. Abundant citrus rind tempered by a dense caramel malt component. Beautifully balanced this specimen is exceptional. The finish is long and thirsty. Overall: I really like the sharpness of the hops. The balance is supreme. Highly recommended. partyninja (17) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 27, 2008
Beautiful, rich, sweet flavor. The hops are not overpowering. This might be the best beer of all time.

My favorite beer ever. This is all I drink in Texas in the fall. So sad to see it disappear from the shelves when the season is over. dwyerpg (6402) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 26, 2010
Smells absolutely fantastic. This is a seriously tasty pale ale. Lots of hops, but well balanced between bittering and floral varieties. A smooth finish, this isn’t overly dry or bitter. This is truly fantastic.jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2011

A lovely hoppy citrus aroma. Amazing crisp hoppy flavor,, a solid up-front bite that starts on the tongue and moves to the outside. Wonderful stuff.
32oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a clear copper with about a finger of white head. Aroma is all hops. Mostly pine and citrus. Taste is heavy bitter. Lots of pine with a bit of citrus and grapefruit. Medium bodied with a creamy yet oily texture. Lively carbonation and a very long very bitter finish. Overall, absolutely awesome. Easily the best beer SN (currently) makes. I could drink this every day. Panky (19) - Homestead, Florida, USA - JAN 15, 2012
This is probably my favorite beer at the moment. I won’t even drink this from the bottle because it is so beautiful... It has everything that a good IPA should have. It pours a beautiful dark brown and has a nice head if poured correctly. The fresh hops give it a nice bitter hop taste but it doesn’t have a horrible aftertatste like some IPA’s and is very smooth. I try to grab as many of these as I can afford every time I go to the correct store =D mkel07 (6362) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2012
650ml bottle. Rich orange color with a lts of thickly packed foam. Looks as thought has some weight to it. The aroma is filled with flowery hops, caramel and butterscotch and is truely wonderful. Resinous in the mouth and carries a long lingering aftertaste. Another great beer from Sierra Nevada.
