Sierra Nevada has really given up... I guess they haven’t reached out and change their minds about the way the new beer revolution has gone? Come on guys you can make a better beer than that!!! All these smaller breweries are kicking ass in the IPAs and pale ale‘s and you’re a stick in the mud!!! Get your head out of your ass and develop a better beer!!!!!!! via Beer Buddy for iPhone LinusStick (3532) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2018
Solid old school IPA. Aroma was all dank hops. A little soapy with big grapefruit rind and pine. Pour was an amazingly clear light gold with a thin white ring for a head. The taste confirmed what I was thinking when I saw how light colored this beer was. It was all hops. Lemon, pine and strong grapefruit character with a nice biting bittermess mid sip. Finish was nice and bitter with barely any sweet malt to take away from the hop flavors. Medium carbonation. Truly a great beer and, thankfully, no mango/tropical fruit/melon crap chadski (177) - California, USA - JAN 21, 2018
Orange aroma. Strong bitter hops flavor with a lemon presence. Lacks the alcohol and caramel sweetness often found in double IPA's luttonm (6978) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2018
Bottle in Seattle. Quite clear orange, white head. Orange zest and dank, funky hop nose. Astringent, dank hop body with a mixed bag of astringent bitterness and pith. Sweet and weighty. Doesn’t balance well. Slipstream (2720) - USA - JAN 20, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2018 Nice retro label that looks like it could be in the wall of a bnb. Full big IPA taste - dusty hops, orange, pine. It generates a good tingle on the palate too. One of the best things I've had from SN.

Nice bitter finish but it is not winning me over. Still waiting for SN to come up with a fantastic IPA. It’s not this one.

A bright golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some pine, lemon, oranges, and maybe pineapple in there. The flavor is slightly bitter with quite a bit of citrus flavor. The aftertaste is well balanced and slightly bitter. Overall not an intense as some IIPAs in flavor or ABV but this is a nice tasting beer. SN rarely lets you down on this style. Wasn't expecting much, and expectations were met. Middle of the road dipa. West coast style with harsh bitterness and sticky sweet hops. I'm very fucking tired of these style beers. Jabah (565) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JAN 20, 2018
Another solid offering from SN. This reminds me of their Hop Hunter that came out a few years ago, but a little stronger and maybe a little less malty. Resembles a West Coast IPA....not as hoppy as the average. Very smooth and crisp. Economy beer for the price yet there's some good quality here. patricks110 (2794) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 20, 2018
A pretty good West Coast DIPA but its not that memorable for me. Pours a mostly clear gold colour with a thin white head that leaves a few lacing splotches. Quite floral and grassy with a light pine needle aroma, mild spice notes. A bit of caramel sweetness, citrus, pine resin, bitterness is quite heavy but doesn't linger.
