COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A group of hop-heads and publicans challenged our Beer Camp (#19) brewers to push the extremes of whole-cone hop brewing. The result is this: a 100 IBU, whole-cone hurricane of flavor. Simply put- Hoptimum: the biggest whole-cone IPA we have ever produced. Aggressively hopped, dry-hopped and torpedoed with our exclusive new hop varieties for ultra-intense flavors and aromas.

Hops, hops and more hops are the stars of this big, whole-cone Imperial IPA. Resinous new-school and exclusive hop varieties carry the bold and aromatic nose. The flavor follows the aroma with layers of aggressive hoppiness, featuring notes of grapefruit rind, rose, lilac, cedar and tropical fruit all culminating in a dry and lasting finish.

Bottle. This is what Im talkin people, this is a kick ass west coast style hop bomb. I love it, huge hop citrus aroma and big flavor profile. I taste grapefruit, pine, hints of floral etc. perfect! If I need to keep it real, I would say the ABV is a smidge to high. But great bitter dry finish, loved this one.

Bottle from Hippo Beers. Big big beer obviously. I knew from the moment i poured it i wouldnt dig it. Weird golden colour I had noticed with other beers I didnt like. Intense floral hop aroma, pretty good. But eh taste is not my thing. Just too much in the competitive sense. Overpowering like a heavy sauce. No.

This is a really nice IIPA, with a medium copper pour and floral citrus nose. Flavor starts out very nicely. No surprise that the hops are the main act here. Initial flavors are nice with a balance and citrus taste, before becoming a more assertive and resin hops flavor. To some extent, this feels like a "hoppy for the sake of hoppy" beer, but its more flavorful and balanced than many that meet that definition.

Hazy orange pour with thick white head. Tons of lacing. Enormous grapefruit and citrus aroma. A burst of well combined fruity hops. Orange is the most noticeable. Followed by grapefruit and lemon. Clean not overly dry finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Bottle from Champanes. No date on bottle so no idea how old it is. Clear amber with white lacing. Aroma of raisins, brandy, and minimal hops. Sweet caramel and raisins start of the taste, moving into floral notes with a big bitter finish with some booze. Big body with low carbonation. I really enjoyed this one.

Pale orange. White head. Floral hop aroma, very hoppy aroma with some sweetness. Taste is very hoppy, very floral and citrusy, yet sweet and well balanced. The malt holds up against the hops well and leaves a pleasing bitter sweet finish. Full bodied and excellent. One of the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Aroma doesnt hold up to taste but this is still arguably the best ipa in the world. Malty and hoppy with a hint of sweet and then even more hops!
