12oz bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a frothy white head. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is of hops, pine, citrus, and caramel. Taste is big on the bitter, resiny hops. Long lingering hop bite. Sharp alcohol bite underneath the strong hop character. Lots of citrus, pine, and caramel. The malt character is very light underneath the huge hop taste. Lots of grapewfruit comes out after a few sips. It’s hoppy, and it is good.
Citrus pine aroma in an amber copper pour. Huge hop forward balance with a big fruity body and sustained dry bitter finish to match. Only issue is that it is too strong to enjoy in the quantities one would want. Maakun (5748) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2017
Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Almost clear dark amber with off white head. Toffee, light roasted nuts, dried red berries, mango, dried flowers, sweet wine gums, essential fruit oils. Quite fruity but in a dried and oily way with lots of thick sweet malts. Quite sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied. Not bad. sjogro (4263) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2017
Bottle shared in Les Thons. Clear amber with white head. Big sweet malts, honey, rye, weedy hops. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body, oily and slick. Soft carbonation. cwill (96) - Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2017
Amber pour into a chalice. Thin one finger head that quickly disappeared. Aromas of mango, peach and pineapple. Taste is phenomenal. A hop bomb with tropical fruit sweetness and a bit grapefruit zest bitterness. Malty backbone becomes more apparent as it warms. Mouth feel is medium with a light carbonation. I found this to be a quite tasty beer. One of the better DIPA’s I’ve had.

This is the 2017 vintage at 9.6 percent. 12-ounce bottle pours hazy orange with spritz white head and lacing. Aroma: grapefruit, pineapple, mango, honey, pine. Flavor: all the above, just seriously ramped up; assertively sweet and bitter. Mouthfeel: full-bodied, slick.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/18/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, papaya, lemon/orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with and awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 9.6%. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with tame bitterness. Great juicy hop vibrancy and nice malt backbone, without being too sweet. A really enjoyable offering. MBlessing (1335) - Württemberg, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2017

12 Oz Flasche. Orange glänzende klare Farbe mit hellem Schaum. Karamel, grapefruitschale, Pinie. Sehr kräftige Bitternote. Harz, Hopfen. Wuchtig aber elegant! commonshawn (1266) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Tap at butcher and boar. Light copper with medium white head and excellent lacing. Pine hop nose. Sticky resin taste, very crisp, full flavored, excellent balance. Heavy on the pine bitterness, not much citrus. This is really well done, almost an optimum dipa.
