COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Cloudy yellow orange with a firm and lasting white head. The yeast aroma of clove and banana is rather subdued, with a touch of grass. Sweetish grain flavour with a spicy touch. Nice and drinkable, but doesnt do much that any German standard weiss couldnt do.

Pours dark cloudy yellow with a white head. Banana and bubble gum aromas. The flavor is a great hefe. Sweet banana malts with just the right balance to make sure the sweetness is just right. Easy drinking flavorful brew. I enjoyed being able to taste pronounced flavors that I enjoy from a hefe with a good body to back it up. One of Sierra Nevadas better offerings. I could sit around and drink this beer all day and never get tired of it. Perfect for any time.

This beer pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a small white head. The aromas are light bananas, lemon zest and slight cloves (although not that strong). The flavors are light bananas and mild cloves. While this is a great representation of the German style hefe by an American brewer, it did fall a little short for me but I did like it. Cheers

Pours hazy golden with little white head. Banana bubblegum nose, quite nice.
Flavour isnt as full as Id like, but all the banana and bubblegum is there. Light carbonation contributes a silky mouthfeel, body slightly watery. Finish is quite fruity.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow with a creamy white head that had a thin layer lasting and left light lace. Very nice wheat, citrus, and clove blend in the aroma. The flavor was much the same but just a step back compared to the aroma. Medium body and a light clove aftertaste.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, no head. Some bubblegum and banana esters. Sweet with fairly clean mouthfeel, notes of glue, slight fruityness. The clean mouthfeel makes it a bit sterile. To style, but falling within the lower end of the spectre.

Kind of a sweeter, crisper more flavorful version of hoegaarden and without the aftertaste. Good stuff.

It pours a cloudy gold color. Aroma shows the traditional banana and citrus fruit. The palate shows the nice spices and rolls into an overall long and spice driven finish. A nice surprise.

Bottle. Pours hazy light golden coloured with a creamy lasting and lacing egg white head. Aromas of banana, spicy yeast, bubblegum and orange fruit. Flavours of sweet malt, tropical fruit, spice and banana. Great hefeweizen!
