Draft at Sierra Nevada, Chico. On nitro of course. Color is a medium depth brown with a persistent ring of beige head. Mild aroma of roast and bittersweet cocoa. A creamy feel incorporates roasty flavors and an underlying espresso vibe. Travlr (24930) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 19, 2017
Nitro at Duckworth’s. Dark brown color cream colored nitro head. Chocolate aroma. Taste is light roast coffee. Very light body. IndianaRed (4647) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 21, 2016
On Tap Clear dark redish brown. remarkably "non-black" actually. Classic "lid" of nitro bubbles on top. The malt bill is decidedly les roasty than clacssics o the style. A dark brown ale more like, dry...yes. Nitro....yes. But a stout ? barely. BuckeyeBoy (7719) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 20, 2016

A very creamy head to this. Smooth drinking, and not really all that dry, this is a nice stout. Sammy (12212) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2016
On nitro at pizza plant transit. Bitter finishing irish stout. Creamy and black with retained head. ffbot (420) - Oakland, California, USA - APR 14, 2016
This one was a little jolty. Pour of course is fantastic, super creamy, head is alive and frothy, look of the beer is like coffee that has cream in it. Smell is controlled by the head but I do get a nutty scent. Taste is nice and balanced, creamy nuttiness, super drying and cleansing tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 28, 2016
draft to sampler, I am not a huge nitro fan but in this instance it was ok. dry stout similar to guiness in style but made the SN way with nitro. mild roastiness dry finish the middle was creamy enough to make it enjoyable. Keg at the Torpedo Room, Berkeley, 29/01/16.
Pitch black pour with a big old tan head with excellent retention qualities - a real looker of a beer.
Nose is thinnish, light paper, roasted notes, toffee, cocoa powder, raisens.
Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, light tar, chocolate sprinkle, light roast bitterness.
Medium bodied, soft, smooth, caressing on the throat, drying close with a little roast.
Looks and feels great but lacks direction at the business end.
