Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Malt and light citrus aroma. Caramel and light woodsy flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Caramel and light woodsiness lingers with light citrus. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - AUG 17, 2013
On tap. Clear golden orange with a fizzy off white head. Sweet caramel and spruce tip aroma with earthy cereal grain notes. Sweet caramel and malt flavors up front transitioning to perfumey spruce and woody pine notes and finishing malty. Sticky medium bodied and bright palate. adamah (214) - California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
The aroma has a little spice, pine and a hint of caramel. It pours a light brown color with very thin white head. The taste is slightly sweet up front but fairly bitter overall. The bitterness is very one dimensional though, all pine covering up most of the hop character. The body was medium to light bodied and fairly thin. Overall a little disappointing because of the lack of hoppiness but for somebody that loves pine this beer is full of it.
