Great very hazy orange and copper coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of very pungent resinous and grassy hops with some herbal elements and a light astringent note, but a bunch of citrus and very bittered hop scents - nice and incredibly pungent. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive citrus and floral hoppy notes as first with full orange flavours with some other citrus, but this is all about those flavours and the hops in a good way, all with a balanced but relatively small malt backbone throughout. Aftertaste shows some more of the citrus, flowers, grass, resin and just pungent hop bite, but without much pungent bitterness nor driving malt character. Overall, a very well-structured and balanced IPA with a ton of citrus and floral hop notes without too much bitterness and ending with a light sweetness with the alcohol bite staying away - a good new option from Sierra Nevada! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 23-January-2018 for US$1,83 sampled at home in Washington on 18-February-2018 less than a month later.

Slightly hazy gold with no head and the smell of grapefruit. Taste is massive hops with some citrus, a bit of pine, and a tad of floral. Really good brew and looking forward to the two more bottles that came in the sampler 12 pack.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Pours a nice clear yellow color with a generous head and nice lacing. Aroma has subtle hop and fruity hints. The taste follows the nose with subtle hop and fruity hints, namely grapefruit and lemon. A well balanced light bodied well carbonated beer.

From the mix pack - pretty much what the description says, a straight forward American IPA. It's good, but not particularly unique.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with small white head and average carbonation. Quite hoppy aroma with a lot of citrus. Bitter as expected with citrus and floral presence. Medium bodied. Decent.
