Bottle @ home. Black colour with a lovely medium sized light brown head. Smells roasty, coffee, alcohol. Tastes sweet, alcohol, mocca. Sounds weird but it’s lacking in taste a little bit for me. Full body, soft carbo.

355 bottle enjoyed @ home, 2013 vintage. Pours black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and alcohol, a little boring. Flavour is roasted malt and bittersweet. Medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Finish is long and very flavourful, roasted malt, dried fruits and on the boozy side.

Immediate smell upon popping was licorice...smelling directly gives a complex smell though, mostly of coffee, deep and smooth, very dark black, can’t see through, taste is coffee and slightly bitter, alcohol fairly strong, milky smoothness in background and lightly on finish...licorice still in there though
