12oz bottle. How had I not ticked this? Sleeping on the job. Black in color with a small brown head. This malt-forward monster is bold with notes of bakers cocoa, molasses, and dark roasted coffee. Oops, that was their description, but it does apply. Molasses, dark chocolate, and sludge from the bottom of your coffee cup. Both aromatic and flavorful. Rather thick on the palate, par for the course. This is good but weve seen this jig played out before.

Bottle. Narwhal is fantastic. Nice black pour with thick creamy head. Not much on the nose, a little roasted coffee and chocolate. Taste is roast, coffee, little chocolate, and a nice dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black and has a medium tan creamy head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and wood. Taste was coffee and semi-sweet chocolate forward. I also got some wood with a sweet and smokiness on the tongue. Quite good and was also in the mix a 6 section so I wont complain. Def full bodied and filling.

Flaska frn SB. Svart med brun skumkrona. Smak av mrk choklad, kaffe, salmiak och lite portvin. Torr, syrlig och besk. Hade nskat lite mer stma fr en bttre balans.

Incredibly crushable imperial stout by Sierra Nevada. Tastes like roasted coffee, nuts, and smoke. Very bitter and coffee flavored finish. Black pour with a thick tan head. Had at home ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Heavy cocoa and roasted coffee aroma. Heavy black body with a tan foamy thin head. The first taste tells you it means business with its intensity. Roasted cocoa and coffee blast with a warming sensation as it goes down your throat reminds you that this is an imperial strength stout. Leaves with a dry clean finish and if you pay attention youll pick up the sweetness of molasses. Definitely a winter warmer type of brew.
