Pours a four finger tan head that slowly fades leaving a good lace. Black color, no highlights. Medium carbonation and medium-heavy bodied. Roasted coffee nose and flavor is roasted coffee, higher ABV is hidden. $2.60 for a 12oz bottle from a Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - DEC 23, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a thick light espresso head and light lacing. Smell of cocoa, espresso, some dark fruitiness, and alcohol. Taste of cocoa and coffee lead the way with more dark fruit than burnt molasses, making this not as sweet as other Imperial Stouts. Finish is a lasting char, smoke, roast and hops. Very smooth and creamy, medium body, lighter carbonation. badgerben (5286) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Pitch black color with a small head. Aroma of dark chocolate, light spearmint, and roasted barley. Wood, vanilla and roast flavors dominate. Solid coffee. Very thick. Nische (2437) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 22, 2013
Pours thick and black with a full two fingers of beautiful creamy tan head. Rich malty toffee aroma. Malt sweetness with lots of roasted coffee character and just a touch of smokiness. Thick, rich mouthfeel with a warming alcohol finish. Melker (268) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 21, 2013

Draft. Pours black with a creme head that lingers. A boozy aroma with little carbonation. Chocolate and coffee flavors but a bit boozy. Heavy.

Buddy: "Hi Mr. Narwhal!" Mr. Narwhal:"Good luck finding your Dad!" Buddy: "Thanks Mr. Narwhal." and that about sums it up on why I bought the four pack at beer world yesterday. To the rating! "SANTA! I KNOW HIM!" Baby....it’s cold outside.....time for some tasty impy stout done right. junon (430) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - DEC 19, 2013
BIIIIIIG, BLACK, and delicious. This is how the female bartender described it to me. I’ll have to agree.
