Pours a rich black color with a finger of mocha colored foam. On the nose its full of roasted dark malt, burnt chocolate and hints of coffee. The palate is slick and dark ! Damn this is burnt coffee, deep darkest chocolate Ive ever had. Nice little touch of sweetness brightens it up and lingers into a licorice coffee finish. Nice Stout ! Gonna age a fourpack and see what happens .

Pours the color of used oil with a ring of brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, dark fruit, molasses, booze. Chewy body. Flavor has loads of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, booze, sweet malt, and a bit of dark fruits. Great for the cold weather.

It is a bit rough around the edges, alcohol is pretty hot, finish is dicey. This is a middle of the road IS. Got it at Wegmans in Erie.

Pours opaque black with a nice tan head. Aroma is chocolatey, apologize my nose is a bit blocked. Nice boozy, full-mouthed choco-roasty with a nice coating effect.

Pours very muddy, murky brown unclear with a small cinnamon caramel head. The aroma brings some bourbon barrel, clean in the nose, enjoyed. Flavor is rich roasted chocolate flavors with smooth boozy bourbon notes, ligher for sure but nice on the palate. Light gritty texture, not too creamy but body is full.

Smak och doft av frmst choklad och mrkt kaffe men ocks av rostade toner, torkad frukt och en aning vanilj. Krmig, rund, len och samtidigt frisk och med en lagom beska. Kraftfull och vlbalanserad. Riktigt gott.

12 oz bottle from Whole Foods Encinitas. Black color. Beige head. Aromas: heavy roast, drop, medium sweet, somewhat acidic, hint of cocoa. Flavor is roasted/burnt, medium sweet. Quite strong alcohol feel. Full bodied. Finishes dry, burnt, ashy. Good, but not quite what I expected.
