Bottle from Whole Foods Tampa. Pours clear caramel orange with small white head. Nose is malt, slight biscuit, and bitter citrus hops. Flavor is a bit of malt with some caramel sweetness emerging then going into the background from the citrus bitter hops. Interesting light-to-medium bodied wet hop. I guess I expected a more aggressive wet hop beer.

A good beer- it pours a copper color with a piney aroma and some citrus. It has lots of hoppy, bitter flavor with a piney and bitter hop finish with a somewhat dry/ bitter nail-dragging finish. It’s respectable.
Copper colored, clear, beige frothy head. Aroma is of malt, some caramel, moderate- fruity and floral, herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet malt with caramel, some fruity and floral hops, herbal notes, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Nothing overly exciting, should try it fresh... 10th Feb 2017: second beer on my first flight at Devilicious, Temecula California. Really pleased to see this on the tap list as it has eluded me on my Californian trips in the past. Amber, golden body, the head a light beige affair. The nose was fruity, piney and slightly malty. The taste followed the same lines as the aroma with caramel notes pushing through the hops: semi-sweet with a mild hop bite towards the end of each sip: liked it. Aroma is mild fruity with malts and stern hops. Taste is fruity sweetness, light dusty malts, spices, ripe citrus fruits. Bitterness carry a bite that reminds me a little of licorice. Green and grassy notes lifts this one a little bit. Shark_Pants (743) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 28, 2017
355ml bottle, packaged 28 Sep 16. Attractive deep clear amber with voluminous and persistent sudsy white head. Citrus and floral aromas with some caramel malt character. Big pleasant (and unexpected) whack of melons and floral notes in the taste, then an assertive grapefruit flavour and some caramel. The wet hops give it a really nice oily and resinous mouthfeel. Really like this IPA.

Bottle in Seattle. Creamy off-white head, dark rosy orange. Rosy caramel, sweet malt. Modest wet hops, perfume and complex. Little bitterness, rosy creamy caramel. Tasty, clean. Lovely sweetness, very modest bitter. Nicely constructed. 7stern (644) - Bromma, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2017
Clear reddish amber with full head. Pine and malt aroma. Bitter taste, pine, raisins. NosirIwont (2532) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2016
Bottle. 6.7%. Best before 30.04.17. Pours a slightly hazy, golden dark amber, with a light tan/yellowish head. Good lacing. Mild aroma; fruity hops, malt in the background. A wee bit dusty. Sweetish note as it warms, as well as a hint of overripe fruit and a light fat note. Further warming brings out a spicy hint. Flavour is fruity hops with malt in the background. Light citrus, lighter pine, a bit fat as it warms. Dry, bitter hop finish. Has a sort of a bite somehow; not an ’apparant’ bite, but still. Hint of liquorice as it warms and a mild alcohol burn. Lingering light grassy note. Overall good. 25.12.16. magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - DEC 27, 2016
Bottle from Sierra Nevada Mills River - while I can appreciate the piney hop forward mild bitterness if a good IPA, it still isn’t my style. So while I think this is a good example of the style, it’s not my cup of tea.
