12 oz bottle in chilled glass from Safeway $13.99/12 pack. Nice example of the 'Festbier style' with an American twist. Golden straw color, thick head, ample effervescence. More bite than you'd expect from a marzen - a good quality, in my opinion. Definitely worth a try, but it won't replace SN Pale Ale on my favorites list. higgsbison (268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2017
Nice roasted malt backbone. Notes of caramel and toffee just enough bitterness in the finish to balance it out. A Very easily drinkable beer

Bottle. Thought I'd had before - very tasty, easy to drink Oktoberfest beer. Yum Bacchus66 (951) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2017
12oz bottle at home. Clear amber with a thin tan head. Malty, nutty nose. Flavors are smooth malt, bread, brown sugar, black pepper. Smooth texture. Medium malty finish. Nice. (notes, 2015) Slick75 (18) - - AUG 4, 2017
Not as good as other octoberfest beers. Not as caralmely or sweet. They claim it's like a authentic German marzen, but I don't think it's as sweet.
